Cecilia Cohen was the daughter of Reverend Moses C. Cohen and sister of Solomon Cohen and Octavus Cohen. She never married. Gratz Cohen (1845-1865), the son of Solomon Cohen, was killed in action in the Civil War. Hunter, Pearce & Battey were cotton and naval stores factors and wholesale grocers.
